Spring Sessions with CYSO

The Cyprus High Commission is pleased to present a series of concerts in partnership with the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra. A selection of classical masterpieces by major composers, including Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi, and Mozart, is presented in three concerts, performed by CYSO.

A new concert is released every weekend, between May 15 – May 30, and will be available to enjoy for free from the comfort of your home on vimeo.com/ondemand/springsessionswithcyso

Session 1: 15 May, 4pm (available for 48 hours)

  • Antonio Vivaldi: Piccolo Concerto in C Major RV 443
  • Arild Plau: Concerto for tuba and strings
  • Franz Lehar: Lippen Schweigen from The Merry Widow
  • M. von Weber: Concertino for clarinet in E flat major, op. 26
  • de Sarasate: Zegeunerweisen (Gypsy Melodies), op. 20

 Session 2: 22 May, 4pm (available for 48 hours)

  • A. Mozart: Symphony no. 31, K. 297 (Paris)
  • Albinoni: Concerto for 2 oboes in F major, Op. 9 No. 3
  • Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky: Serenade for strings in C major, op. 48

 Session 3: 29 May, 4pm (available for 48 hours)

  • Roussel: Concert pour petit orchestra
  • Dvorak: String Quintet in G Major, Op. 77 (1st Mov)
  • Ludvig van Beethoven: Symphony no. 2 in D major, op. 36

Η Ύπατη Αρμοστεία της Κύπρου στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο παρουσιάζει σειρά συναυλιών με τη Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Κύπρου, οι οποίες θα μεταδοθούν διαδικτυακά από τις 15 έως και τις 30 Μαΐου.

Στο πρόγραμμα Spring Sessions with CYSO, η Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Κύπρου παρουσιάζει κομμάτια από κορυφαίους συνθέτες, μεταξύ των οποίων Τσαϊκόφσκι, Βιβάλντι, και Μότσαρτ, τα οποία θα είναι διαθέσιμα στο κοινό δωρεάν, για να τα απολαύσει από την άνεση του σπιτιού του.
